I wanted to share some pictures from Sandy’s first year. She celebrated her first birthday December 10. We could not have found a better dog anywhere. She is doing great. She is super smart and beautiful. Sandy has been a perfect fit for our family.

just wanted to let you know that we are still wildly in love with our birdie. she is a year old now this christmas and is doing wonderfully. she has been so easy to train, so good and calm with our kids, just a dream come true. here is a picture of her before she recently got groomed. i'll send you another picture (maybe through a facebook message) of her after being groomed, on halloween. my kids insisted that she was in costume as well -- not only did she put up with it, i think she kind of liked it :)

Thanks for checking in. Cash is doing great! He has been a fantastic puppy so far. We have been crate training very diligently and he has done very well with that. Last night he actually didn't cry or bark one time the entire night from 10pm till 6am so Allison and I were thrilled about that. It was his first time to go all through the night without having to go out to the bathroom. He has had very few accidents in the house so far and he is well on his way to being potty trained. He is eating well and very playful at night when we get home. I took him to the vet today for his first check up and they said everything was great. We will be going back next Friday for his 2nd vaccines. The vet and all the people there made so many positive comments about how calm he was and already has developed a great personality around people. He has definitely worn us out since Friday but we have tried to enjoy every minute of it because we know the training will pay off down the road.

Like I said last night, we had research the breed for a couple of months and we finally made our decision to get one last weekend. We knew it was a gamble to drive 3 ½ hours to see a dog, but I had a good feeling after talking to you on the phone. On the ride up I kept telling the kids not to get too excited because we wouldn’t be getting a dog if we didn’t like your facilities and/or dogs. After spending 5 minutes with you guys and seeing your facilities, we knew we were walking away with one of those pups.

Charlie had an uneventful ride home. She sat in Linda’s lap and didn’t make a peep. Last night she laid in bed with us for about 20 minutes and then it was off to the crate. She whined a while, but it wasn’t too bad.

This morning she checked out the house and yard. I have attached a picture of the kids saying goodbye to Charlie before they left for school……….and hour late……..they needed extra sleep.

We will definitely keep you posted on Charlie’s progress. We are committed to the training program you laid out.
