We believe we have the nicest kennel in this area and so will your pet. Our guest owners tell us their pets actually gets excited when they turn in our driveway because they know where they are going!

Pricing

• Small dog- under 15 lbs - $8.50
• Medium dog - 15 lbs to 30 lbs - $9.25
• Medium to large dog - 30 lbs to 50 lbs - $10.50
• Large dog- over 50lbs - $11.00
• Cat boarding- $7.00
• A 10% discount  will be given for multiple dogs that are able to stay together in pens or play yard outside kenneling.

Drop off and Pick up times

8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

We will try to be as accommodating as possible. We work full time at Serenity Farm and will be here most of the time but there are occasions when we have to leave the farm. If we will be away during your scheduled pick up or drop off time, we will leave a note with instructions on where your dog will be placed. The kennel will be labeled with the dogs name and kennel number. We will leave a receipt for the boarding if we will not be there for the pick up. Please leave any instructions and food in a plastic bag or container.

All dogs must have up to date vaccinations, including kennel cough vaccine. We strongly reconnend that all dogs be on a flea/tick prevention plan.

Food

We feed and refresh water twice a day.  If your pet is on a special diet, please bring your pet's food. Each run has the pet's personalized name and instruction card. If the pet is on medication, please be specific about med times and what the med is for.

Emergency Vet Services

We will attempt to contact your personalized vet you indicate on your information card but reserve the right to find a vet willing to care for your pet if an emergency arises and immediate care is necessary. We will bill 40 cents a mile to transport your pet. We will have the vet bill you directly. We are capable of basic first aid until a vet can be contacted.

Bathing

We can bathe your dog if the dog is cooperative and does not have a history of aggressive behavior. We use an Oatmeal based shampoo with skin conditioners. We will brush out your dog as best we can. We do not have grooming skills therefore cannot attempt heavily matted dogs.  Weights listed above determine the price of the bath

Collars and Treats

We offer a selection of Premier collars. We have found the Premier collar to be the best, non -slip collar for a dog. We have trained our dogs with a positive reinforcement method and these collars work best with our method. If you have problems controlling your dog or they slip their collar, this collar will assist with those issues.

We also offer rawhide long lasting bones for your dog to alleviate boredom and satisfy their need to play or chew. Prices depend on the rawhide size bone.

Basic Obedience Skills

We are going to be offering basic obedience training to be done while you are away. This will consist of the command “Pay attention”, “Out or Off” command, “Sit”, “Down”, “Stay” and “Free”. We use cheese sticks as treats and will charge 50 cents a stick to do the training. Only very small bits of cheese are used so the stick goes a long way. We will report on the dog's progress when you return.

We would work on skills a half hour per day in 15 minute increments. We would require the Premier collar for training.
