Serenity Farm Goldendoodles and Missouri Foxtrotters

Nestled in the hills of Middle Tennessee is the home of Serenity Farm Goldendoodles and Missouri Foxtrotters.

We believe we have one of the prettiest and most peaceful, scenic farms in the whole state. Our clients and guests are charmed when they arrive at our farm. Our focus is our Goldendoodle program and we will have a small number of Missouri Foxtrotters for sale. The Goldendoodle is a standard poodle and golden retriever cross.

We have F1b litters which are a goldendoodle and poodle cross and F2 litters or goldendoodle and goldendoodle cross. Families dealing with allergy or shedding concerns, choose the F1b cross because genetically they are more poodle. Our F2 litters are also genetically close to our F1b litters because our stud doodle, Maverick is a F1b goldendoodle.

From our experience, when a goldendoodle has a full coat, they all look pretty much the same. It is when the coat is trimmed down that you will see three different kinds of coats. One is more wavy, like our stud goldendoodle Maverick. The second kind of coat is the shaggy coat like our Anna goldendoodle. The third kind is a curly coat like our Nova. We are not able to predict what the coat will look like when the pup is an adult. Genetics play out differently.

The biggest factor when choosing a goldendoodle is what your needs are concerning allergy or shedding. If allergy is an issue in your family, a F1b or F2 pup is more desirable. All dogs shed. Goldendoodles shed but the shedding is significantly less. Their coats need maintenance often to avoid matting. Many owners choose to keep the coat trimmed down, particularly in the summer. Even with this furry, soft coat, the shedding is minimal. Serenity Farm goldendoodles come with a fair and reasonable health guarantee. We discuss the guarantee at length before purchase.

Our pups are wormed and vaccinated before leaving. They learn to go outside through a doggie door to potty so the instinct is strong, making toilet training easy. We also work with the new family on dog psychology. We practice and teach methods to keep your pup calm, submissive and respectful. We offer a free return puppy session if you live close to our farm and want to come back again for some suggestions.
